About the operator · Updated October 20, 2026
A small information desk for a large, ordinary problem.
evsalaryevee explains how furniture gets measured, moved, assembled, anchored, and leveled in homes in the United States. The site is the whole project. There is no showroom behind these pages.
The address on this website is a real desk: 1511 Old Country Rd, Plainview, NY 11803, United States. You can call (516) 586-5800 on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:00 Eastern Time. Saturday and Sunday the desk is closed. Those hours are for questions about the site. They are not installation appointments, because the site does not make them.
Three mailboxes stay separate so a note reaches the right place. [email protected] is for questions about the guides. [email protected] is for a broken page, a missing image, or another problem with the website itself. [email protected] is for corrections and for correspondence with the operator.
Why the pages are written this way
Furniture sheets, lease clauses, and public safety pages answer different questions, and they rarely sit on one screen. A dresser listing tells you the finished width. It does not tell you whether the elevator in a particular building is deep enough, or whether the lease allows the anchor holes the carton asks for. These guides keep those questions in one reading order: measure, path, assemble, protect, level, anchor, and check the rental rules when they apply.
Example numbers are labeled as examples. When a federal rule matters, the page names the public source instead of paraphrasing it into a promise. The clothing-storage notes point to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission FAQ. evsalaryevee does not test products and does not state that any specific piece meets a standard.
Photographs
Pictures on the site are stock photographs used as illustrations. They are not documentation of work at the Plainview address, and they are not before-and-after claims. Credits and the editorial rules are on the editorial policy.
What to read next
If you are about to receive a piece, start with measuring a room and the moving path. If you want the full list, use the library. The disclaimer states the limits of the writing in one place.

What a page on this site is for
Each guide is a reading order for one job: measure the room, check the path, assemble a flat pack, protect the floors, level the piece, anchor it when the instructions say to, and read the lease before you drill. The pages share a header, a footer, and this disclaimer. They do not share a template of advice. A number in one guide is an example until you measure your own opening.
The operator answers questions about the writing. A reply from [email protected] can clarify a sentence. It cannot see your stair, your wall, or your lease. If a page is wrong, write to [email protected] with the URL and the sentence. Corrections are described in the editorial policy. The disclaimer is the limit on what any of this writing can be used for.
Publication dates differ because the pages were written separately. The home page shows the latest update for the site as a whole. A guide shows its own published date and its own update date. Those dates are not a claim that a regulation changed on that day. When a public rule is cited, the page names the source so you can read it yourself.
